A country Swedish tallcase clock @ 1830. This clock is constructed of Scandinavian pine having a warm waxed patina. The unique case resembles the outline of a woman having a base that looks like a dress, a pinched waist, and braided hair with a barrette above the bonnet. The eight day weight driven movement does not strike, but does have an alarm. The convex wooden dial has its original paint, with the numeral nine painted in a quaint unorthodox manner.
